Holiness.

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory. Isaiah 6:3.

And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called the way of holiness. Isaiah 35:8. Quoted after: Miriam Bokser Caravella, The Holy Name. P.157.

Surely, when you do realize where you are, you will gladly sorrow and, like Isaiah, will reproach yourself because, being unclean, and dwelling in the midst of an unclean people - that is, of enemies - you dare to stand before the Lord of hosts (cf. Isa 6:5). St. Evagrios the Solitary (345-399 C.E.), quoted in: The Philokalia, Vol. I., P.65.

Let no one deceive you, brother: without holiness, as the apostle says, no one can see God (cf. Heb. 12:14). For the Lord, who is more than holy and beyond all purity, will not appear to an impure person. St. Theognostos (VIII Century of the C.E. ?), quoted in: (1981). The Philokalia. Vol. II., P.367.
